> Courses for non exchange students (students enrolled in degree courses at the University of Avignon)
> A free weekly French language course, called "UEO Français pour étudiants étrangers" is offered each semester. Students take a placement test, and are then placed into groups depending on their level.
Duration: 1.5 hours/week
For students enrolled in a Licence programme, the course is worth 3 ECTS credits. Regular attendance is compulsory.
The number of places available is limited, and priority is given to students who have just arrived in France.
Students who wish to enrol for the course offered during the first semester of 2011-2012 must contact CUEFA by email as soon as possible and before 21st September 2011. (Please specify your full name and the name and level of the degree programme in which you are enrolled). Depending on the number of places available, they will be requested to come to the CUEFA office to do a placement test.
> A free French academic skills course, called "UEO Méthodologie universitaire pour étudiants étrangers hors échange", is offered in semesters 1, 3 and 5 for Licence (= undergraduate) students. The course is worth 3 ECTS credits and is intended for students enrolled at the University of Avignon for the first time.
3 hours per week between February and May 2012. Regular attendance is compulsory.
Master's students can also be accepted in this course if places are available.
> A free course for international doctoral students and post-doc researchers is organised every year by the Doctoral college and the CUEFA. The dates for the next session have not been fixed yet. Please contact the CUEFA for more information.
