Non-European Union guest researchers may require a document called "convention d'accueil" (formerly called "protocole d'accueil") in order to apply for the relevant visa for their stay in France (scientific visa). It must be signed by the President of the University of Avignon and stamped by the Préfecture de Vaucluse.
Please contact the university's Research Office to obtain this document.
Besides, an invitation letter, signed by the director of the host laboratory in Avignon is also necessary for the visa application .
