The colloquium on Optimization is organized by the Laboratory “Nonlinear Analysis and Geometry” of the University of Avignon. It is dedicated to Professor Michel Volle on occasion of his 60th birthday. The colloquium consists of 10 invited talks covering the areas of convex analysis, variational analysis and optimization in which Michel Volle has made significant contributions.
